MG, first Indian automaker to launch NFTs
- MG Motor has announced the launch of its foray into NFTs.
- The company will begin selling a total of 1,111 digital creative units.
Leading automaker MG Motor has announced the launch of its foray into the non-fungible token (NFT).
Additionally, the company has revealed that it will begin selling a total of 1,111 digital art units – its art that includes GIFs and static images will be auctioned off and it will begin selling the NFT collection from the 28th. December 2021.
MG Motor India Commercial Director Gaurav Gupta said:
With this new initiative, we are taking a step towards socialization with the NFT teams. Together to bring together MG owners, fans, MGCC members and the community at large to celebrate and own the invaluable digital designs in its many forms.
In addition, the MG’s NFTs will be divided into four divisions. This includes collectibles, community and diversity, collaborative art, and CaaP (car as a platform).
