Gas station camera snaps new photos of suspect getaway vehicle

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – A gas station camera has new photos of the suspect vehicle involved in a hit-and-run on Monday.

The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office says it is still looking for the driver of a silver 2012-2018 Ford Focus that was involved in a hit-and-run on Monday, February 21.

Around 2 p.m. Monday, the sheriff’s office said the Focus struck a cyclist in the 5500 block of SW Burlingame Rd.

An area gas station took photos of the suspect vehicle driving off the scene heading southwest on SW Burlingame. The car appears to have lost the passenger side mirror in the crash.
